Since my fifth graders will be taking the state physical fitness test this month, I printed out the fitness activities and worksheets for use in my classroom.

This site features a calorie calculator. All you need to do is type in your weight and duration of exercise and a list of activities with the number of calories burned appear. Fun for junior high and high school students.
This site is designed for teachers of fourth and fifth graders. It explains what 5 a day power play is all about and list a contact number and address to request a 5 a day curriculum packet. I received my packet yesterday and it is wonderful! You must check it out.
